Who Would Have Joined The Facebook Group When They Were In?

i know some of us are having fun reading and commenting on the watchtower facebook page and it got me wondering how many of us would have joined it when were in.. i know i would certainly not have.

i was never what you would call a spiritual witness.

i only stayed in as my friends were are witnesses and really went for the social aspect.

i hope it doesn't "encourage" you to go back .

you see, when i left, i immediately felt the relief of not being burned all the time by all of the gossip that occurs within the congregations, circuits, etc.

Watchtower to Mexican JWs, get your literature from Canada!

this just in from the rumor mill.. the society are selling their printing presses in mexico and that the mexican witnesses would now have to get all of their literature from the canadian branch from here on out.

needless to say, the mexican jws are livid.. as you know the society did the same thing with the madrid branch in spain.

as of this past october all literature now comes from the london branch.. rr.

the example set by jesus .-Acts 4:13;1 Pet. 2:21.
2 How Jesus Taught: His teaching was
simple, down-to-earth, and easy to undertand.

I like this paragraph. The rest of the paragraphs...not so much. Unfortunately they have written the right message but will twist into meaning something else.

His example should be followed . They should be spreading this simple message. Jesus is Lord and if you put faith in him , help others, love your god and your neighbor he will grant you the free gift of life.

he answered the door and told the pioneer there that i was sleeping.

She gave him a message , left the mags and left. I really couldn't have orchestrated that better if I tried. Now my two year old is ripping them up. Isn't that cute.

a blood transfusion will not save the life of a starving man = a blood transfusion is not food = a blood transfusion does not violate the ot law given by god to the jews to, "not eat blood" and that was later reiterated by the jewish christians to the gentile christians = the watchtower no-blood transfusion doctrine is a manmade abomination that kills innocent people = the watchtower society is guilty of promoting manslaughter.. .

Recently I was debating the importance of observing the Sabbath with a friend and I was trying to explain how Jesus, The Lord of the Sabbath, was willing to break gods law not only to save a life but to improve ones health (ie. a blind or lame man).

When it hit me that Jesus example should also be applied to blood transfusions. The "LAWS" were mute when the health or life of a person was at stake. No law is more important than showing love to your fellow man (other than loving god). To me that is clear.

the thing that sucks is that they are very much alive & we are literally less than five miles apart from each other everyday.

i had a long talk with one of my siblings today.

i've been getting a really weird vibe lately...today it was confirmed that i will be shunned from here on out from them.

i read some amazingly articulate questions and responses, and i admire the effort that people put into their posts.
